Jane and Danny were married at the Hyatt Oak Brook in Chicago, and heaps of fun would be an understatement when it comes to describing their best day ever. Want to know more about their vibe? Humor, everyday joy, and a couple of board games thrown in. They are the couple other couples want to be friends with. They are the kind of couple that hosts game night. And they are the couple that brings that little bit of razzle-dazzle and fun with them, wherever they go!

The day of Jane and Danny’s Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook wedding was literal perfection in the weather department. Just enough sunshine and not too much heat was the perfect recipe for an outdoor ceremony. While I’d love to cut right into telling you about their sweet wedding ceremony with heartfelt vows and acknowledgments to the loved ones whose presence was honored, I’ll kick it back to the getting-ready suite.

Jane and her wedding party got ready for the day at the family home. You know how it goes, button-down shirts to keep the professional hair and makeup in place before getting into formal attire. But Jane was the type of bride who was going to enjoy each and every second of her wedding day. If that meant a fabulous champagne spray before getting her wedding dress on, then heck yeah, we’re going to capture it!

While Jane got ready at her family home, Danny and his crew fastened their cuff links and fixed the groom’s bowtie at the venue. Wait until you see Danny’s wedding day suit because the word awesome doesn’t even begin to convey the sheer magnificence of it! Once Jane and Danny were dressed for the day, they opted to have a first look with each other before their wedding ceremony. Some couples cry, some couples embrace, Jane and Danny kissed, held hands, twirled, and skip!

The energy was high and the vibe was easygoing as we headed into the ceremony. The wedding ceremony space at the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook Chicago was nestled on the grounds. Beside the lake and among the trees, Jane and Danny promised to be each other’s forever date. A close friend of theirs officiated the wedding and she knocked it out of the park! She included fun facts and anecdotes about Jane and Danny, making their wedding ceremony suited to their unparalleled personalities!

After Jane and Danny said I do, their guests were treated to a fabulous cocktail hour where live music kept the energy at max volume. Have you ever been to a wedding where guests sat awkwardly at the reception, not knowing (or interacting) with the other guests who were seated at their table? Jane and Danny’s wedding was the complete opposite! In every direction, guests were openly conversing, joking around, laughing, and having the best time ever.

The bride and groom hit the dance floor, completely fearless in showing off their stealth dance moves. But, when the night heated up, Jane threw on a party dress complete with maribou feathers, and everyone spent the night celebrating the newlyweds.
