Mistakes

Rules & Consequences

Sometimes things don’t go according to plan.

1. The videographer doesn’t capture footage from an important part of the wedding. This includes the ceremony from start to finish, reception toasts or speeches, mother-son/father-daughter/first dances/Hora(or other traditional dance), cake cutting, and grand entrances.

If you miss an important part of the day, the bride will ask for a refund. We have provided a comprehensive shot list as well as training videos to prevent this but we understand that things happen and we are all capable of mistakes. For each main event missed, the videographer will be deducted 25% of their pay. If payment has already been made, the videographer will be responsible for returning said % payment within 30 days.

2. Footage is too shaky.

If more than half of the videographer’s footage unusable because it is too shaky, they will be deducted 25% of pay. If payment has already been made, the videographer will be responsible for returning 25% of payment within 30 days.

3. The videographer misses the wedding.

If the videographer cannot make it to the wedding, please call 5858020812 and email wholeheartvideo@gmail.com as soon as possible- there will be no penalty. Usually we will have a stand-by videographer ready to step in. If the videographer doesn’t call AND email but misses a wedding, the videographer will be responsible for calling the bride and apologizing. The videographer will not be paid and they will not be asked to shoot future weddings.

4. The videographer does not capture the shots on the shot list or submits false information(States that he/she got all of the shots asked for when he/she actually didn’t.)

After shooting a wedding, we will send a form asking if the videographer captured the shots on the shot list. We will have the editor double check. If they did not capture the shots on the shot list, the videographer will be deducted 25%-50% payment. If payment has already been made, the videographer will be responsible for returning said % payment within 30 days.

5. The videographer doesn’t wear the requested attire or is late.

The videographer will be deducted 25% payment.

6. The videographer drinks or does drugs on the job.

The videographer is expected to treat each person they come in contact with as they would want to be treated on their wedding day. The videographer will be responsible for calling the bride and apologizing. The videographer will forfeit all payment for said wedding. All future wedding bookings will be cancelled.

7. The videographer looses any footage from wedding.

The videographer will be responsible for calling the bride and apologizing. Depending on the severity of the loss, the videographer will be deducted 25%-100% of the pay. The videographer may pay back the due balance in the form of filming future weddings.

8. The videographer is NOT to speak negatively about anyone at the wedding(guests, bridal party, family, other vendors, etc.).

All future wedding bookings will be cancelled.

9. The videographer is NOT to make negative comments regarding anyone’s appearance(i.e. their height, weight, etc). Videographers are NOT to make any comments or advances that could be interpreted as sexual harassment. The videographer is NOT to make any comments on one’s views or religious beliefs, or any comments regarding their race, color, sexual orientation, or lifestyle.

The videographer will be responsible for calling the bride and apologizing. The videographer will be deducted 100% pay. All future wedding bookings will be cancelled.

10. The videographer is allowed to share clips taken from a Whole Heart Video wedding on their social media as long as they use the hashtags: #wholeheartvideo or @wholeheartvideo. If they do not hashtag, it will be assumed they are passing the wedding off as their own booking.

All future wedding bookings will be cancelled.
