Emily and Gabe were wed in a gorgeous fall wedding at Armour House in Lake Forest and we can’t wait to share the details with you. Let's press rewind for a quick minute though and we’ll tell you how Emily and Gabe met. Believe it or not, they met at a wedding! A wedding that took place almost five years to the day of their own wedding. The stars aligned when Emily and Gabe met and they connected almost immediately. In fact, when Gabe recounted the story of meeting Emily to one of his friends, the next words out of his mouth were something like I think I’m falling in love with her.
Their wedding day was very much a reflection of the first five years of their story together. The details were romantic, the light was glowing in every direction and their friends and family could not have been more excited to spend the day celebrating their love. When Emily was getting ready, Gabe sent a gift over to her bridal suite. It was a gorgeous box of earrings for her to wear when they said I do. When Emily popped open that little red box, she was beyond excited to see the gorgeous gift her husband-to-be chose for her. Gabe knew exactly what he was doing when he picked it out because the earrings were a perfect match for the romantic, sparkly wedding gown Emily bought for the day. Another detail we love? Emily paired her wedding day look with a classic over-the-face wedding veil for her walk down the aisle at their wedding ceremony.

Emily and Gabe said I do with a big church wedding ceremony at the Church of St. Mary. The doors of the church swung open and Emily made her grand entrance escorted by her father. By the way; her Dad? He had the best speech ever at their reception later that evening! When the newlyweds were ready to make their exit from the church, their guests were lined up at the doors with ribbon wands in hand to wave while cheering in celebration of Emily and Gabe. We knew early on, in the bridal suite, and when the groom and his groomsmen were getting ready, that this wedding was going to be one filled with serious fun. Emily and Gabe have an amazing crew around them and they were full of excitement and joy, literally the entire day!
There was one more grand entrance to be made for Emily and Gabe’s best day ever. Once the newlyweds arrived at their wedding reception at the Armour House in Lake Forest, they made their way down the most epic stairway.
