Bridgeport Art Center Wedding

Haley and Danny said I do under the Chuppah with a romantic Bridgeport Art Center wedding. Between a family friend and a chance meeting at the 606, Haley and Danny were fated to be each other’s beloved. Their worlds carefully orbited one another until they were finally drawn together for a first date. A date that took place at a Wickerpark Speakeasy. The night of their date, Danny arrived early and full of nervous anticipation. Meanwhile, in start contrast, Haley ran late and had a refreshing sense of confidence! Hours (yes, hours!) into their first date, they both shared a special connection.

Their relationship quickly developed and the love that Haley and Danny shared over the years was felt through countless together. Those hours were filled with deep conversations about life, walks along the 606, brunch with friends, and traveling together. Needless to say, Haley and Danny quickly turned into each other’s best friends. From there their families began to blend and the couple made the leap and moved in together.

The bond Haley and Danny share is pure. As a couple, they are open and vulnerable with one another, sharing deep belly laughs and smiling at one another as if the world has just melted away around them. The kind of love they share is one that lights us up as Chicago wedding videographers. We got a front-row seat to that story on their wedding day, But most importantly, we got to be the ones who put it all together for them in video form; so they can look back on it for a lifetime.

Their Bridgeport Art Center wedding was a beautifully sunny day in Chicago, that set the tone for a celebratory mood. When their wedding day began, Haley had a beautiful first look with her dad before meeting Danny for the same reason. Haley and Danny’s first look took place on the rooftop of their venue with the Chicago skyline in the backdrop. After they laid eyes on one another, they took a moment to express their love through personal vows. It was sweet and tender to see them profess their love privately before meeting under the chuppah.

Before meeting under the Chuppah, Haley and Danny signed their ketubah and held a badeken. With these traditional Jewish wedding elements honored, they recited their vows of marriage; “I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine”.  As they were pronounced married, Danny smashed the glass and their guests shouted the loudest Mozel Tov ever heard at the Bridgeport Art Center!

From there it was off to their wedding reception celebration at Bridgeport Art Center. The night glowed bright with rows and rows of twinkle lights strung high above the dance floor. Haley and Danny cut the cake and then took to the dance floor with their guests for a traditional Jewish wedding hora. Beautiful toasts were given in honor of the newlyweds and two families became one on that beautiful sunny day.
