Ana and Benjamin planned their hearts out for this Ovation Chicago Wedding and it was evident in every.single.detail! In fact, when we first started chatting with Ana and Benjamin, we asked them what they wanted out of their Chicago wedding video. We got the list and it included those fab wedding day moments like their first look, moments with their friends & family, and their epic getaway car (a Rolls Royce, by the way!). But they also wanted to make sure we captured the deets. We know that all the planning in the world can make your wedding day unforgettable. And Ana and Benjamin’s details? So epic! Details like a ceremony aisle lined with candles and florals, an elegant color palette, a candlelit dinner, and a night spent on the dance floor with glowing thundersticks. By the way, the dance floor was literally packed, all night! Not a single guest chair was put to good use the night of Ana and Benjamin’s wedding at Ovation Chicago because everyone was busy celebrating the newlyweds.

Now that you know how the night ended, are you curious about how their day began? Well, Ana spent the morning getting ready with her crew. There was time for matching PJs by the pool and a fantastic champagne spray before she slipped on her wedding dress. As Ana got into her dress, her wedding party was asked to do their best not to peek at the bride. Ana wanted to share a fun, lighthearted first look with her wedding party before dashing off to meet Benjamin. Let’s just say, you know you’ve got a solid crew when the excitement is immediate. Because Ana’s wedding party was overjoyed to see her all dressed up on her best day ever!

Next, it was Benjamin’s turn to get a look at his bride. For real, this groom was so full of joy, that it was practically contagious. The first words out of his mouth when he turned around to see Ana was something like “YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL”! After Ana and Benjamin’s first look and exchange of private vows, we were so ready to get these two married.

Remember how we said Ana and Benjamin planned everything with such specific detail? Do you want to take any guesses as to who officiated their wedding? PS: no scrolling down, because that’s cheating! It was Ana’s maid of honor! Super crazy good, right? It’s not uncommon for our couples to ask someone close to them to officiate their wedding. It’s an amazing way to add an extra layer of “you-ness” to your day, while also making it memorable, and immersive for your guests. It’s safe to say that Ana and Benjamin’s guests appreciated the maid of honor stepping up to the mic to officiate because they went absolutely wild when Ana and Benjamin were pronounced married.
