The Armour House Black Tie Wedding

Megan and Andrew are married, and they did it up black-tie style, with an amazingly stylish wedding at The Armour House. Their classic theme was accented by heaps of lush florals in pastel tones, and shades of dusty blue worn by the wedding party. Keep reading for more!

The morning of Megan and Andrew’s Armour House wedding was spent with their respective wedding parties. For Andrew, it was beer and the game with his groomsmen, and for Megan, it was an epic first look with her bridesmaids at The Armour House. The venue has this unbelievable staircase as the focal point of their Great Hall, we’re telling you, it’s incredible! It’s also the perfect location for a first look with your wedding party, or your partner. Megan’s wedding party was over the moon to see Megan’s romantic, off-the-shoulder wedding gown, with an on-trend cape attached. Yes, a cape, just wait until you see it!!

When it was ceremony time, Megan and Andrew’s guests awaited their arrival on the garden lawn of the Armour House. The couple hosted their ceremony outdoors on the lush grounds of their venue, and the gardens at The Armour House are equally as stunning as the Great Hall. Picture a European-inspired space with stone structures, fountains, and heaps of topiaries and flowers; pretty much everywhere you turn! The grassy aisle was lined with white blooms and the guest's chairs were set for a heartfelt ceremony.

During their ceremony, Megan & Andrew recited the personal vows they had written for one another and it’s clear they share a special connection. The kind of connection that grew stronger with each challenge they faced. But also a connection that made their bond completely unshakable. The people who love Megan and Andrew the most describe them both as thoughtful and caring and all of those elements were spoken during their beautiful vows.

After Megan and Andrew were pronounced, it was time to celebrate the newlyweds. Their wedding reception celebration kicked off with a grand entrance via the Grand Staircase. Remember the one we mentioned for the first look? But this time, the staircase was lined with glowing candles on either side and Megan came ready to party with her bridal cape removed. Their guests got things started by giving the crowed a goog hearty laugh with fun speeches. Including one from the father of the bride (and yes, he had all the Dad jokes you could imagine!) and a moving speech from Megan’s best friend.

The remainder of the night was spent diving into their deelish three-tier wedding cake, and later, drinks were in hand when guests took to the dance floor to get down. It was clear to us that all of Megan and Andrew’s guests were there to celebrate their wedding day. But even more so, they were there to honor their marriage.
