Riviera Ballroom Lake Geneva Wedding
Ava and Jameson’s Riviera Ballroom Lake Geneva wedding was one fantastic celebration. And we’re giving you all the deets!
If you love weddings with big best-friend energy between the couple, you are going to love stepping inside Ava and Jameson’s best day ever. To officiate their vows, Ava and Jameson enlisted the help of the groom's cousin. We see this more and more with our couples. They want to have a personalized wedding ceremony experience, so they ask someone super close to them to officiate their vows. Jameson’s cousin, Jay, totally delivered with a funny, touching, unique wedding ceremony for the bride and groom. At one point he even told guests that he would sing a note or two from a Shania Twain song. But, it turned out to be a great big old joke that had guests in stitches!
As they recited their handwritten vows, Ava and Jameson delved into the specifics of what makes their relationship thrive. They shared how they met. Sidebar; at the time, Ava said wasn’t looking for anything “serious” but invited Jameson to a big family dinner a week later! They also shared how through it all they have remained a constant source of support for each other. It was a full spectrum of emotions from laughing so hard our cheeks hurt to all the happy tears. It all ended in a thunderous round of applause and a full blast of cheering when they were announced married. Seriously, Ava and Jameson’s guests were ready to blow the roof off the Riviera Ballroom in Lake Geneva at the end of their wedding ceremony!
After they were pronounced married, Ava and Jameson had a fabulous cocktail hour planned for their guests, on The Grand Belle. Yep - a cocktail hour on a boat designed after a steamer because could anything else be just as fabulous? We’re thinking no! As it turns out, the entire idea behind Ava and Jameson’s wedding day was to plan it in a location with a special meaning to them. Where they first met, right at Lake Geneva! Fun with a dash of romance, don’t you like how they roll?!

After the fantastic cocktail hour aboard The Grand Belle, it was right back to Riviera Ballroom for their wedding reception in Lake Geneva. Ava and Jameson added a room reveal to their wedding day timeline. They wanted to see their reception space all set up before guests occupied the gilded chairs. And once those chairs were occupied there were epic speeches in honor of the newlyweds, glasses filled to the brim with champagne, and a first dance that included the bride's mom at the microphone!
It was evident to us that Ava and Jameson’s love is that once in a lifetime, stuff that dreams are made of kind of thing. When guests have their phones out to snap photos during the reception, cocktail hour, and at the reception, you know it’s because they didn’t want to miss a beat of the couple's real-life fairytale.
